Julius - Ssentumbwe Program Manager
JULIUS is the program manager for HEED CHILDREN/HEED UGANDA. He is married with three children and cares for an additional 15 spiritual children. He holds a Bachelors’s Degree in Accounting and Commerce from Makerere University. He is a former sponsored child of Compassion International and served as the Project Director and CDO Finance for Compassion sponsored projects for six years. Julius has skills in business and farming and served as the field manager for HEED before promotion to the Program Manager role with HEED. Ever-positive and encouraging, Julius serves with HEED because he has a passion for discipling and inspiring youth to discover their God-given potential in life, to bring hope to the hopeless through love and care, and wants to see HEED become self-sustainable through implementing income-generating projects.
David Kabonge - Lead Administrator
DAVID has served with HEED since 2010 and brings his invaluable wisdom and leadership to his role as our Lead Administrator. David is married to Catherine and they are blessed with two children. He studied accounting and then followed the Lord’s call for service and ministry to children with our partner ministry UCOM, where he leads the Feed His Lambs Ministry. David has parented and mentored hundreds of children throughout Uganda and is passionate about raising others into their calling. David serves on the worship team at his church as well as in various other leadership roles.
Pamela Ayikocia - Clinical Medical Officer
PAMELA is a clinical medical officer with two years’ experience serving in a Level IV health center. She joined HEED to serve as our school nurse, and has spearheaded the effort to open our community clinic. She has a degree in clinical medicine and community health from Kampala International University with specialties in radiology, safe motherhood, ultrasound, and management of malaria cases. Pamela loves being part of the HEED team and being free to serve the Lord through her work. In her free time, she listens to Christian music, enjoys reading the Bible and Christian novels, visiting the sick, and sharing the Word of God with people.
Tom Kairu - Engineer Building & Maintenance
THOMAS serves as the Projects, Building and Maintenance Engineer for HEED Children. Tom is a committed Christian who is happily married with five children. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Ndejje University and a Master's Degree in Building and Civil Engineering from Uganda Polytechnic Kyambogo. Tom also works for the Ministry of Education in their facilities and compliance department providing invaluable guidance to HEED as we have planned and constructed our school campuses. The quality buildings on our campuses are a testimony to Tom’s skills and integrity and serve as a witness throughout the region. Tom enjoys being part of the “HEED Story” that is unfolding in the lives of the children and community in Kyakitanga.
Vicent Mawagi - Farm Manager
VICENT serves as HEED Children's Farm Manager,and is a married with four children. He has a diploma in agriculture from Bukalasa Agriculture Institute and thanks God that with HEED he can practice his profession and passion in a Christian setting. Through his leadership, HEED’s farming projects provide a place for students and the community to learn skills to improve their livelihoods. He is working towards a self-sustainable farm that will finance other ministry activities of HEED.
Rebecca Kutesi - Accountant
REBECCA works in the accounts department of HEED Children and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Finance from Kampala International University. As a born again Christian and a minister in church, she is honored to work with HEED Children to ensure fiscal stewardship of God's resources. Rebecca coordinates many activities at the HEED office and also enjoys mentoring and discipling the youth in our programs. Rebecca loves to sing. She serves on her church worship team and makes personal recordings in her free time.

Jotham Mussime Head Teacher - Head Teacher Ebenezer International High School
JOTHAM is a seasoned teacher and the Head Teacher of Ebenezer International High School. He has a Bachelor's of Science with Education Degree from Kyambogo University and is currently pursuing his master's degree. He is happily married to Ninsiima Aidah, a proud father of two and above all, a born again Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jotham has a decade of experience working with young people and takes pride in helping disciple them as well as helping them discover and shape their unique God-given abilities. Outside of work, Jotham enjoys a good book binge but can also be found on long bike rides on hilly country roads with family and friends.

Robinah Nalugya - Head Teacher Ebenezer Junior School
ROBINAH is married with four children and an experienced teacher and administrator who advocates for student programs focused on raising academic levels, developing life skills, training educators, and involving the community in the school. She has used her leadership to serve with integrity in Uganda and Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Makerere University, several Bible College diplomas, and a certificate in school governance. She has found that HEED is a place for growing and serving together as a team to further the kingdom of God.
